Yesterday i recorded a few comedy sketches (in Portuguese) about an LGBT festival and, sadly, part 5 was misguided and by accident. The music used included Nitzachti, Diva, and some music used on news bulletins on Kyrgyz TV.
The new year is coming.

See what i mean? Around 1:30 in, we can see a bumper. A long one which features scenes from Mucha Lucha and Ozzy and Drix. Ozzy and Drix is still new to me, though i saw the movie (Osmosis Jones) a few years ago on one of those pay movie channels which show crappy movies.

Kyrgyz cartoon and Таалимтай

What you are about to see is a weird cartoon from Kyrgyzstan. It's called "Buurchak Kati" (THERE'S NO TRANSLATION! RUNAWAY TRAIN!) and i don't get it. It's so hard to understand and it's all in Kyrgyz. Hopefully one day we will get a viewer from Kyrgyzstan and will translate everything in this post that's not in english.

I've just found some info about Kyrgyz TV recently, and when i first saw this i got hallucinated. Not literally. So we had these arabic guys in the supermarket yesterday, and  i imitated the scene 1:45 in.
I don't know their language.
Next is a show called "Таалимтай" and it appears to be a show where several kids do stuff. I found it on the official FB page of "Baldar FM".

What called my attention... but first off, let me tell you that in order to tell everybody about my discovery, let's just say that that country is poor and they don't have any money to find good music on the Internet and one of the pieces of background music appears to be a lousy instrumental version of "Hakuna Matata". What called my attention, around 2:35-2:40 in is a random kid watching Cartoon Network... watching Star Wars the Clone Wars... on... the american CN? And even though it's actually a video with a few years! Damn, you.

Rados Koprivica Helo, I'm a viewer from Serbia where we also get this version of Russian CN. Sorry but I have to write in English. Just wanted to ask why doesn't CN Russia air all the Christmas promos like other European countries. You only air those 2 or 3 same ones every year while other countries also air red promos and a few others. Here's an example so please air those promos too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8DXAfnYJEo

Blatant lie on the face. I'm watching a 90's Scooby-Doo movie, despite my TV guide billing that "The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie" is on. Holy Crap.
Looks like we will get Tiny Toon Adventures in a near future, as the Christmas special will air on Christmas Eve.
Cartoon Network:
Starting in January, we will get Mucha Lucha. Which means that we will get crap. Utter crap.
About the Batman animated movies: We got Doctor Freeze, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker and this week: Mystery of the Batwoman. We will also get a few minutes of old Cartoon Network Dance Club.

CN Europe or Spain - NEW Christmas bumps (2012)

Our CN has just reduced the number of Christmas bumpers, eliminating around 3 or 4 leaving us with 3 bumpers. Meanwhile, in Spain, they got this:

The bumper where a snowball does a 360 spin reminded me of BBC One's effort in 2008. Great job for the BBC (even though it's a bit old).

weird dream 3

Crap, that weird dream series is starting to happen very frequently. I just had this dream where i went to a house of one of my mom's friends (i came with my mom) and i jumped to the house and what i heard was this:

YES! THE CATCHY THEME SONG FOR THE LIFE AND TIMES OF JUNIPER LEE!
When the theme song ended, i opened the door and i went down some stairs. I get in and i see a comfy living room that looks like a big library. There was a TV (it was on RTP 1, i promise) and some books.
I also listened to the hebrew theme song for Phineas and Ferb.  It was creepy on so many levels.
And there was also this part of te dream where Postopia returned. With a lot of games.
And i invented a character for Darwin the Merman: a "waterman" called Lighthouse (with such a name it looks like a Pokemon). If you want to know what a waterman is, please watch Bubble Guppies. I admit, Portugal is one of the fewest countries in the world NOT to air Bubble Guppies. I warned you. The main characters are watermen/mermen, not guppies.
And all of this happened in the same dream.

Before i start, CN in my country finally put their own Christmas look since yesterday. And a big retailer was selling Punch Time Explosion XL for the Wii. I didn't buy it. Wonderful.
Now, to start with, do you remember this?:

This british spoof commercial was actually shown from the year of my birth (1998) and it lasted a few more years. Proof?
Around 2002-2003; the british CN website had some microsite related to Skatoony with a quiz-like game. This video was present between two rounds, and that's not it.
It altered with another ad (this time animated in Flash) for the fake Wazco Corporation, with two people talking on what appears to be a weird background. Possibly in the middle of the Old West.

TODAY I DISCOVERED that Boomerang in SE Asia was replaced with Toonami. They have Ben 10 and Generator Rex - actually a perfect fit because CN is becoming shit in those countries. Cartoonito is coming soon.
But meanwhile in Australia, Boomerang adopted the european look. Holy shit.

Today, we begin with some help: do you have pictures of pre-2006 Cartoon Network Europe web pages? cartoonnetwork.nu? cartoonnetwork.co.uk? cartoonnetwork.es? I've been checking some sites and they only have from after 2006. But they saved cartoonnetworkeurope.com's first look and also cartoonnetworkhq.net's first look when it was actually a page that took you to CN websites from around the world. If so, i still have fear of that page that popped up before the actual pop up that contained the Cartoon Network website. The one that had the CN logo surrounded by signs. Oh, and don't forget not to put links on Internet Archive. Just put them on Toonzone or something.
